This property has something for everyone. Huge house, and the most amazing pool area with incredible privacy and fantastic entertaining area.

The grounds are entered with a long tarmaca drive leading up to the house. An offshoot leads to a second basic house which is in need of reform, and would be a great guest house.

The driveway encircles the huge main house, and there is a vast parking are, and an open double garage, and a closed underground double garage.

Unlike most country properties the house is not rendered, which leads to flaking. the property has a cavity wall which is entirely brick lined, and looks in the same condition as when it was originally built.

The design of the house may give the impression that there are too many stairs, but this is not the case. the first wing of bedrooms is raised, but only above the half basement. the following three bedrooms are directly above the lounge and kitchen, so inreality it is only like having a two storey house.

Although the house is undeniably impressive, I will now describe the outside space in more depth which for me is what set this property apart as one of the best that I have come across.

A small gate in the middle of large fir hedge leads into a magical area which surrounds the pool. this is incredibly private, the hedge is over four meters high and surrounds a lage garden and lawned area which in turn surround the king size pool. adjacent to the pool is a vast entertaining area with bar and summer kitchen there is a a seating area large enough for 40 people and potentially extra shaded seating  from roll out sun blinds.

Attached to the building is the pump house for the pool, and a complete bathroom with shower.

 

there is also a BBq area.

All of this area has been landscaped, mature palm trees, and paving stones built into the lawn. This would be a fantastic area to use on a regular basis, or for one off events such as weddings, communions, and celebrations.

Petrel (Petrer) and Elda are two towns which have expanded into one conurbation. between the two no shortage of fiestas either. Although one big place each town has its own dates for fiestas, so you get double the cultural and social activity than most places.

Although having a combined population of over 100,000, you can still find tranquility within the towns. Petrel in particular has a really quaint old town with narrow cobbled streets leading up to the impressive castle

Petrel mountainside is one of the most beautiful in the Valencian community. Various steep valleys climb up towards the famous El Cid mountain. Water flow down the mountains over thousands of years has carved some stunning gorges into the landscape.
Being so picturesque the area is popular with walkers, and cyclists. There is also a good selection of country restaurants to use whilst you explore.
